I'm Shannon,
a soulful and passionate doula serving Edmonton, Alberta and area.
I am also a mom of four grown kids. Their births and the stories of others have led me to my calling of a birth doula. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to empower other families during their birth journey. My desire is to ensure each family feels cared for, heard and relentlessly supported through trust, knowledge, communication and love.
Just as a woman's heart knows how to pump, her lungs to fill with air, and her hand to pull back from fire, so her body knows how to birth.

Birth Support
Let me support you and your birthing partner. I provide you with evidence-based research, a calming presence, offer labour positions, pain relief suggestions, as well as capture the first moments of your new beginning with your baby. I will also stay with you during the first couple hours after birth to ensure the comfort of both mama and baby, help with feeding and go over any questions that come up.
Prenatal Support
I provide evidence-based research, answer questions you may have, provide information, as well as offer a small library of birth books. We will go over hospital, birth centre or home birth planning tools, birth preferences, labour coping techniques, baby care, feeding preferences and what to expect postpartum.
